FULL BIO

Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Alisa Ulven embodies the true spirit of country music, drawing from a lifetime steeped in its rich traditions. With a voice that echoes the soul of the South, Alisa channels her upbringing and diverse life experiences - from her Marine Corps service to the joys and challenges of motherhood - into heartfelt songs that resonate across generations.

From winning her first contest at the Kentucky State Fair and singing in local jamborees to earning a coveted recording package from the ACCMA's, Alisa's journey is marked by milestones that reflect her unwavering dedication to her craft. Sharing stages with country greats and recording her debut single "The Eyes of Angels" propelled her into the spotlight early on.

Influenced by a diverse spectrum of artists—from pop sensations like Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera to country icons like Martina McBride and modern trailblazers such as Post Malone and Kelsea Ballerini—Alisa's music is a fusion of authenticity and raw emotion. Her debut single, "Livin' Life (Like A Country Song)," co-penned with #1 songwriter James McNair and produced by Nolan Neal, captured the fleeting magic of young love in a summer's embrace.

Her latest offering, "Light One Up," released in April 2024, marks a poignant chapter in Alisa's evolution as an artist. Penned solely by her, the song is a serene anthem born from her triumph over lyme disease and the solace found in plant-based medicine. It's a testament to resilience, urging listeners to savor life's simple pleasures and find peace amidst the chaos of modern existence.

With each lyric and melody, Alisa invites you into her world—a place where vulnerability meets strength, and where every note is a testament to the power of storytelling through music.
